Harness racing is a sport that so many of us have dedicated years of our lives to, whether as owners, trainers, drivers, breeders, or fans.
But there’s no denying that the industry faces some significant challenges, and everyone seems to have a different opinion on what needs to change.
From declining attendance and attracting younger fans to racing regulations, purses, and the overall future of the sport, there are plenty of issues worth discussing.
I’m interested in hearing what everyone thinks.
What do you believe is the single biggest problem facing harness racing today? And more importantly, what would you do to fix it?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. Whether you agree or disagree, the goal here is to have open, respectful discussions about the sport we all care about.
