Weekly Update 03/25

This past week we sent out the following horses:

Yamaka and Yachtsman (AKA the Y brothers) got off to a bit of a slow start in their Maine debut, but we expect them to do better as they continue adjusting to the summer camp-like feel up there. Yachtsman managed to pick up his usual 4th place check, rewarding the superfecta bettors. Yamaka is not in to go, but we will keep our eye out for his next race.

Yachtsman gets a much better draw this week, moving in to the 2 post.

Race #3 at Cumberland on Sunday, post time 12:59, David Ingraham driving this time.

Phantom Tom ran off the board with a tough trip from the 7 post, but still earned a 5th place check. He gets a better draw moving into 2 post in his usual class. The other week he ran a great second place in this class when he drew the 2 post.

Race 8, Monday March 30th, post time 2:20 PM

Wonka Bar makes his 2026 debut, Race 1, 12:00 PM post time. Rough draw with the 7 post, but thrilled to kick off his 3 year old season after a strong qualifier.

That race is on Tuesday.

Peter Petrify N looked to have so much pace before making an unfortunate break, but with some small equipment changes and a drop down in class, and trainer Irvin Crews taking the drive, we expect to see some improvement despite another tough draw with the 6 post.

That race is Saturday 3/28, Race 4, 1 PM post time.

Stay tuned for the results and future updates
