Weekly Update

Weekly Website Update:

-Peter Petrify took a big step up in class after his win the week prior at Plainridge into a $17,000 race . He looked strong on the lead early but it was just a bit too much for him this time out as he got passed and despite he still held on for a 5th place check. He is back in at Saratoga this week and drew the 2 post, so we hope he continues his strong form from Plainridge back over to Saratoga Harness. We look forward to having driver Jacob Cutting in the bike and seeing how he does this week and he is in a $13,000 race .

Beef N Cheddar:

-Beef got this past week off to no fault of his own, just because of the rearranged schedule at Saratoga Harness the previous week.  He drew the rail this week, his first good post position for the stable after two outside draws. Coming off a week off and big time post relief he could be a major factor out there.  Trainer Amanda Kelley had good things to say about Beef and believes he is ready to win.

-Manhattan Artist drew the 2 post after 2 solid efforts for the stable , he gets another good draw at Saratoga Harness.  Trainer/Driver Irvin Crews made some little equipment adjustments and we expect improvement in his third start with the stable as Irvin continues to get to know this horse better.

Beat Bobby Bayou: Bobby did not race this week and we will keep our eye on the entries to see when his next race will be.

Cruzin America put in a very game effort

at Tioga Downs this week, pacing a very impressive 1:51 flat and just barely missing against a very respected and talented horse yet again. Despite the short fields at Tioga Downs there is some very tough competition and good horses out there. He now has two back to back second places in his first two starts for the stable and we are very impressed with the 5 year old son of American Ideal’s efforts thus far. He will make his third start for the stable this Sunday back at Tioga Downs and draws the 3 post. He is taking a step up in class to a $16,500 race and we look forward to seeing how he does out there.

Phantom Tom: Despite drawing the 8 post, Tom got respect in the morningline odds as the 7-2 second choice. He struggled to get a seat after leaving a little from the outside and dropped back to last in the early going. He showed some trot on the outside and was able to fight on finish 5th and pick up another check for the stable.

Dance Machine: Dance Machine was indeed dancing out there this week at Buffalo Raceway, picking up a very gutsy first over forever win in just his third start for the stable. It was a historic win for the stable, being the first ever win at Buffalo Raceway for the LLC, adding yet another track to our resume . He takes a step up in class now to a $12,800 race on Saturday where he draws the 2 post and we look for him to try to make it two in a row.

Wonka Bar: Wonka Bar unfortunately did not get into a race this week due to no fault of his own, he got placed on the also eligible list. He gets the week off after a very strong second place finish and we look forward to his next start.

Yamaka: Coming off an impressive win his last time out, Yamaka did not race this week and we will keep our eye on the entries to see when his next race will be.
