Beef N Cheddar

After a win and a second in just his first two starts in Delaware, Beef came up sick and got a few weeks off to recover. He made his third start Wednesday at Harrington Raceway, where he was unable to get involved much from the 7 post and seemed to need the race. He is right back in this Wednesday and unfortunately draws outside again from the 8 post, but we look for an improved effort in his second start back and just his fourth Delaware start.

Manhattan Artist

After a dull effort his last time out, Arty turned out to be a bit sick, which explained his last start. He will get some time to rest up and recover before making his next start.

Cruzin America

Cruzin got this past week off to freshen up and is back in to go this Tuesday at Northfield Park, where he draws the 4 post. We expect a strong effort from him this time out after a little rest.

Phantom Tom

Tommy Boy picked up another fifth-place finish in Maine this week. He appeared to have some trot, but the track conditions were tough and he made an unfortunate break. Nonetheless, he picked up another fifth-place check and has still earned a check in every single one of his Maine starts.

Dance Machine

Dance Machine turned in another very strong effort this time out, finishing a solid second at Batavia Downs. Although he was unable to get to the front early and was left to do it first over, he fought gamely on the outside and battled strongly all the way to the wire, just missing by a small margin. He is right back in from the 4 post yet again Saturday night at Batavia, and we look for him to try to fire right out to the lead this time.

Wonka Bar

Wonka has picked up one second place finish and three very impressive wins in just his first four starts in the Harmon Stable. He now moves up in class yet again and returns to Saratoga Harness in an $11,750 race. Despite drawing the 8 post and stepping up in class, he is listed at 4-1 on the morning line. We look for him to continue his dazzling form and overcome the outside draw this Saturday with Jay Randall in the bike.

Yamaka

Yammy was up a bit in class in the $6,000 claimers but still managed to put in a respectable effort, finishing fifth despite another tough post. He is right back in this Sunday in a bit of a softer spot, with trainer Chris Dubois in the bike from the 5 post. We look for a strong effort from Yammy this time out despite the return on short rest.

RobinTheCradle

Coming off a win at the Delaware Fair in Ohio in a $15,000 race his last time out, Robin is now in to go this Monday at Dayton Raceway. He draws the 2 post and looks to make it two in a row. This will be the LLC’s first-ever race at Dayton, and it would be sweet to make it a winning one with this sharp 3-year-old pacer.

DiscoveringTheHunt

Hunt put in another competitive effort Tuesday night at Yonkers, where she finished a close fourth. She didn’t get the best trip, having to tip three wide with too much ground to make up and not enough time to do it. She still raced and closed well for a solid fourth in a tough class, with the race going in 1:53 and change. She is right back in the same class from the 5 post Tuesday night and gets Jason Bartlett in the bike. We are very excited to see how she does this time out with Bartlett driving.

Top Notch Treasure

Top Notch made his Plainridge debut on Monday from the 7 post and unfortunately got a very rough trip, as he was parked out every step of the mile. He fought hard on the outside and did his best, but the trip was simply too much and he eventually faded to finish last. He now returns to Maine for a huge Sire Stakes final going for a purse of $81,110. He unfortunately drew the 8 post, but he has had plenty of success against this competition in Maine so far. If he can overcome the outside draw and bounce back from his last start, he definitely has a real shot in here.
